How long have you been in the industry?
I would say that I have experience in the property industry since I left school at 16 as I completed an NVQ in Plumbing, doing this gave me a wealth of knowledge of how properties are constructed which I now use on a day-to-day basis. I have been selling and letting properties for over 12 years now in all parts of Leicester, Leicestershire and beyond, I would probably make a really good taxi driver with how many streets I am familiar with!
What is your favourite thing about the area?
My favourite thing is the fact that I grew up around this side of Leicester, starting in Leicester Forest East, then moving to Ratby and then Groby before coming full circle and ending up back in Leicester Forest East where I now live with my partner Clair and my two very energetic children, Arlo and Aria. I also love how beautiful Anstey and the surrounding areas are, from the greenery, the peacefulness and the community spirit.
What's your top tips when selling a property?
I think the majority of people buy properties based on the feeling they get when they walk through the door, so my top tip is to make your home feel as homely as possible, whether that is fresh air coming through, a nice smelling candle or something delicious baking in the oven, first impressions are everything. It is also why we spend a lot of time on making your property look the best with our fantastic looking photography, our professional videos and also spending the extra time on the write up of the property making sure no detail is missed. I really do have a passion for property and like to treat all homes as if they were my own.
